It's a decent hotel in the heart of Vancouver. It's old and it shows -some of the paint on the walls was chipped- but it's clean. It's only steps away from many Vancouver attractions and plenty of restaurants, so it's great for anyone who doesn't mind walking around. The only thing is that there is no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage you'll have to drag up yourself. But the good news is there's only two floors. Overall I think it's great considering its price and location.
Older hotel, very clean. No elevators so be prepared to do stairs. Excellent location. Excellent price. Will definitely stay here again.
It's a very inexpensive hotel in a terrific location. It's worn around the edges with minimal amenities. The room was fairly clean (a few stray hairs), the bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was good. It's a 'get what you pay for' kind of place in a very convenient location.
Having a great stay at Barclay! Helpful staff and a great room for the price. Close to everything, but still nice and quiet in the evening. Would come back again.
Unexpectedly good boutique hotel. The location is great. The room was very clean, dark and quiet (which we love). We didn't stay during the weekend though and don't know if it would have been as quiet as the walls are quite thin. Very good value for money nonetheless.
