Edgewater Casino, Vancouver Reviews
Enjoyed a fun Saturday night playing slots, having drinks and dinning at The Victor. There were fewer Slot machines than I expected considering the size of the place, but wasn’t too busy so easily found a machine to play on. The only disappointment was the price of the blackjack tables. I’ll definitely go back as I want to spend more time in the D6 lounge! Looks so cozy to have a cocktail in!
I went to a reception at D6 at the parq. I liked the venue. It was kind of like an old mysterious mansion inside the room we were using. There were bookshelf walls that swung open as doors. There was a really beautiful bar that was cut from a single piece of timber and illuminated from within. Close to the stadiums and downtown, event parking is pricey around here. Better to take transit if you can.
great ambiance - it feels high-end but like any casino the dress code is wear whatever you want" :) There are several restaurants but I have only tried the Asian cafeteria - weird and confusing ordering process but everyone is so friendly. We had to stop the manager to let him know that his staff were supremely helpful and genuinely friendly. The bartenders are great to chat with in the central bar and the seating options are comfortable (lots of couched and oversized arm chairs etc for lounging. You MUST try the hot dogs at the tiny food counter in the Casino floor area. The prices are cheap but the food is good - casual fast food items but good quality. This facility is joined onto the stadium so if you want a quick bite before a game or concert I would hit up the casino instead of the food vendors in the stadium. Have fun!
Victor's Steakhouse was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious, the steak cooked perfectly, the restaurant was beautiful, clean and inviting. The staff was great and the bartender's drinks were on point. I will definitely return.
Casino...Very nice decor. Resturaunts looked nice but we didn't try any. Not very busy inside. But bad review given because on a Friday night there was no blackjack under $25. We came in to play 10 or 15 and have a good time and ended up walking around the place, playing a little roulette and leaving. Not a good way to keep people inside.
