Executive Hotel Le Soleil, Vancouver Reviews
Disappointing for the money - we booked room with two bed and were told when we arrived they only offer twins(?) or they could push them together and make a queen bed. Not sure if that is for all the rooms but was an oddity for us. The housekeeping and valet staff were great but the front desk/concierge was useless. We asked for their help twice and both times they were unable to offer so much as a restaurant recommendation let alone help book or plan your trip. Once they actually sent us in the wrong direction when we asked for guidance on best way to reach our destination. We were two women travelling alone and twice they assumed random men in the lobby were with us and ignored us as they assumed our party was being help - what?! The other biggest complaint was cleanliness in the room. The bathroom had mold growing in the shower both near the ceiling and throughout the grout lines. Also the sheets and towels have clearly been used for years as some have holes or shredding from too many washes. Restaurant in the lobby had horrible reviews. Overall it was centrally located and quiet boutique hotel but for the price; I expected a better level of service and quality.
Nice hotel to stay at. Easy to miss due to a tree blocking the door signs, however. The rooms were nice, air conditioner was pretty weak though. Could use a microwave as well. The living room was a nice touch as well. Helpful staff, feel free to ask them any questions concerning Vancouver.
Amazing staff, the restaurant that's attached is great. Location is perfect for transit/shopping/walking/eating downtown Vancouver. The bed was super comfortable and they were very accommodating for any requests. Beautiful old french style decor, very grand feeling. No technical issues with wifi and no charge for usage.
Every time I stay here it's great from check in to check out. The staff are very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are a great size and always the perfect temperature.
A nice, quiet and classy hotel. Not modern, but antique and worn but in a good way. Restaurant was good, my server was a Mexican girl who knew the business, she surprised me twice in a day with thoughtfulness ( I got a drop of food on my shirt, she noticed and came over with soda and a napkin without asking). Good work!
