Granville Island Brewing, Vancouver Reviews
The Service: Wonderful~ The server is super attentive. They know the beer selections very well. He gave great recommendation too. The Food selection was so-so... typical bar food. A little bit pricey also. Each customer can only taste 3 small size (4 oz) beer or 1 large glass (12 oz). Not too many beer selections. People said because they don't have full liquor license? They also offers tour in their brewery room. It is interesting see those big machine through the glasswalls.
The beer is decent, the food is okay. I'm giving this place a 2 star because there was no soap or paper towels or hand dryer available to use after eating sticky wings. I requested for the soap/ paper towels to be refilled and after 20min, still nothing.
My sister and I visited the Granville Island Brewing Company and did the brewery tour. From the moment we stepped through the door the staff made us feel welcome. Brennan was a knowledgeable and charming tour guide who answered all our questions and gave us lots of information. He is an absolute sweetheart. Jackie, the general manager, treated us so well. She is a gem. Would highly recommend a visit to this place and to try the tastings. A definite must visit. 2 thumbs to the staff and the establishment
New to Vancouver? We have maple cookies and we also have local beers too!!!! Place is nicely designed and you can see brewery through the big glass (I believe they do have tour schedule too) Servers are knowledgeable with what they have and they all seem happy too! (Happy staff = Good service) decided to sample all of their product and ordered these. You will know what you are drinking because the sheet under the glasses will tell you! Wish I was more knowledgeable with beer but I surely enjoyed them all! 👍
An absolute gem of a place. The beer samplers were amazing. Also the service was excellent. Our server Emily was amazing and we could not ask for a better experience. We will definitely be back!!
