Kirin Restaurant, Vancouver Reviews - Write a Review
Wow, the attitude is hilarious. "You don't have a reservation? I think we have a problem here." "We don't have that here!" And so much more. I think this was more of a comedic lunch than anything else. They told us we could only eat if we finished in 45 mins or less. It was literally 10:05a .. But I give it 3 stars because I'm thinking the food is the type most are looking for. This, the attitude.
Pretty good place to try! Servers are very nice and welcoming (possibly the nicest I've encountered in a Chinese restaurant), although the food takes a little long to arrive. Dishes have good proportions, and the food is worth the price. Seafood is also VERY fresh.
The worth service I ever have. I came from Toronto and I want to try some good dimsum of Vancouver city. But I called the restaurant once they open. I try to book a table but no one answer the phone. So I visit there but he rejected me imminently and did not give me any time even I just want to ask Can i sit and wait for the next table. This restaurant make my day feeling so bad!
If you don't know any of the wait staff...good luck getting a table....typical Chinese restaurant attitude...rude and expect 100% tip...then they will bow to you..food is ok...but the attitude just kills the atmosphere.. only reason they are in business is bc of the China crowd goes there.....if in another city with that attitude they be out of business fast.....
One of the best Dim Sum places in Vancouver. If you don't have reservations, expect to wait 45mins or way over an hour (especially if you have a large party).
