Kirin Restaurant, Vancouver Reviews
We have never been disappointed with the quality of food and exceptional service at the Kirin. Highly recommend for a great family dinner. We celebrated a birthday and they gathered around the birthday guest and sang to him 😊
One of the best Dim Sum places in Lower Mainland Vancouver. Great food, good value and exceptional service. Go early and always make a reservation before hand or you won’t get a table!
First time to Kirin for dinner. I think the dim sum lunches are fantastic. Dinner wasn't all that great. The tofu with crab didn't have any crabs (visible) and when asked about it they just took it away. We had thought they would bring it back. Didn't hear about it. Apparently it was cancelled and taken off. One less star for that. Always busy it's best to make a reservation.
Very good Chinese Food! It is very hard to get into during peak hours at lunch and dinnertime, but if you are willing to wait you will get courses. I quite enjoy the dim sum at this restaurant. I suggest making a reservation to ensure you don't waste your time trying to get in!
We came in a few minutes before they opened, and instead of asking if we’d like to wait or to look at a menu, the manager tersely said they weren’t open yet and turned his back on us. When we did get seated, we walked past a tank that was full of dead fish. All of the fish were dead and some were even partly rotten, all floating around in a slurry. As if that wasn’t enough, we looked at their menu and it was 588$ for a four person combo. We decided to leave. There is no way I am paying 588$ for snooty service and tanks full of rotten dead fish.
