Library Square - Review
A local Pub that is bustling during weekends, the Library Square is popular for its 24 variety of beer on the tap served along with delicious bar food. Get tipsy on a pint of Guinness as you gorge on barbeque ribs or simply dance your way into the night when the pub hosts DJs.
The old-school video games are a rare addition to the pub and if you love games, you are sure to have a hard time leaving this place.

Library Square, Vancouver Reviews
One of the first pubs that I have visited in Vancouver. It's pretty good.. make sure you book your table beforehand.. also there is lot of seating available in the patio and would be a great place to sit and enjoy during spring and summer time. Would definitely visit the place again.
Nice environment. Pretty chill place to either hang out and keep it laid back or even dance. The people who work there are nice. Drinks are super weak though. Had a bunch of highballs and shots but no buzz at all.
Food was good. Nice beers 🍺 pretty good place to watch world cup. We went for lunch with group of 10 without booking they had space for us.
Stopped in for a quick bite to eat with two other people before a show at the Queen Elizabeth Theater. Can't say we were overly impressed. Maybe my expectations were too high but the atmosphere was a little soulless and very spartan. As more people arrived, it became quite loud and was a little difficult to talk. The staff was friendly but we had to ask for the "Dine Out" menu as it wasn't even offered. That may have been an oversight of our particular server. We ordered one Blue Cheese Burger with a salad and two Blackened Chicken Sandwiches with fries as well as four beers. On the up side, the burger and sandwiches were all absolutely fantastic, perfectly cooked and very tasty. The honestly couldn't have been any better. The salad was nothing to write home about but perfectly fine, however the two orders of fries that came with the burgers were almost cold and two of the four beers that were ordered came warm. We were a little constrained for time before the show or we would have sent it all back. Hopefully this experience was just an anomaly but I probably wouldn't rush back although I could be convinced to give the sandwich another go.
The food is decent. This is a Donnelly Group pub so the menu is similar to other properties. The burgers are sad though. You can barely find the patty, which they claim is ‘locally sourced’, but seems more like it came from a box in the freezer. The pizzas are decent. The service is mediocre. Most requests seem just too much for the servers to handle. It can be excruciatingly slow so allow yourself time and patience. The bar tenders seem more willing to accommodate and happier some how.
