The Orpheum Theatre is a wonderful attraction in Vancouver. The social center of the theatre scene, it is a place worth visiting in the city. The best way to view the theatre is to go for a show or a spectacle and with it being a lively performance venue it wouldn’t be too difficult to find one that suits you.
The rustic, historic theatre has been the pride of Vancouver since 1927 and the brief closure in the interim never harmed its popularity. While the exterior is impressive the interior is simply spectacular and gives off a very old timey vibe even today.
Do not miss a chance to see a concert here as the acoustics are said to be really good. Even if you don’t intend to do all that it makes sense to see this Natural Historic Site from the outside at least.

Orpheum Theatre, Vancouver Reviews - Write a Review
This is a historical theater with amazing sound for concerts.. they kept it exactly the way it was built, and the craftsmanship to details and comfort are simply amazing.... if there is a performers you love and happen to be at this theater get tickets right away, you will not be disappointed in any way....
I have to praise the hospitality staff on duty last night! Our family outing to watch the VSO last night turned into a bit of a disappointment when our seats were already occupied and we discovered that I had inadvertently bought half our tickets for the Saturday nights performance and the others for the next day! The customer service was outstanding and we were given 5 seats together, center stage even though it was all my mistake. Our family evening was saved and the theatre management needs to know how much this gesture meant to us. THANK YOU!
Gorgeous, historic theatre and concert hall. Our seats had a great view of the stage. The aisles are raked--sloping with no steps--making them easily accessible for everyone. The acoustics are perfect. We couldn't ask for more.
Love the ambience here. Staff and volunteers are great. No real bad seats. But next time will likely try and sit closer to the stage.
The Orpheum is a spectacular theatre, which seats 2,000 - 3,000 people. It is a classical theatre, with opulent chandeliers, and particularly, a large ceiling fresco surrounding the huge central chandelier. We go there for symphony concerts, and both the acoustics and the field of view are excellent, from every seat!!!
