Pne Forum - Review

Known for its popular summer fair, amusement park and an arena that hosts some of the best live shows in the city, the PNE - Pacific National Exhibition is one of the best places to spend some quality time with family and friends.

The fair is catered more towards children with carousals, fun rides, food, performances, shops and fireworks that still are the highlight of the place. The memorial dedicated to 29th (Tobin's Tigers) Canadian Infantry Battalion is a humble memory of the war history of the Canada.

Pne Forum, Vancouver Reviews

  • First time for me. Took the rickety old roller coaster and just about soiled myself. That thing is lethal, but worth the scare. It leaves the tracks on some jumps, the corners are rough as hell and the grin on my face at the end was in stark contrast to the primal scream their camera captured mid-ride. BBQ was damn good and the animals were wonderful to see. Make sure you get to the hog races early. Those piggies are adorable. Stick around after the end and give them treats. The dog show was so cheesy that I couldn't help but enjoy the hell out of myself. Well worth the price of admission. Too bad we didn't see the concert at the end. Most of the party wanted to leave early...

  • Always fun to go and see the sights, play the games, ride the rides and eat the food. It's one of those things Vancouverites do ad part of their summer routine. Cant complain. It's nostalgic. Will get very crazy for parking and crowds, so prepare for that. But it's all expected. Something to check out if you are in the area sometime in the last two weeks of August. Try to eat your way through it as well. Lots of fun.

  • I try to avoid the marketplace because I spend and not all products are good! We loved the farm and the pony ride for our 4 and a half year old. Had a good day found some great local toiletries soap and stuff. It was good.

  • Excellent PNE event this year, was set up great I appreciate the new parking. I didn't like the few to little tables were dirty. I'm thinking the bar should be elsewhere die to me walking out with my grandson's amongst drinking people.need more smoking areas.Over all was a great day with my family.Well done!

  • Don’t expect this place to be like Disneyland. It’s not. But this place has great traditions and world best wooden roller coaster. Mini donuts are great. Bring your own water bottles. $3.50 per water bottle inside PNE.
