I received excellent service! I was getting my order to go and initially it was not correct. But the bartender immediately resolved it and my order was out extremely quick. I noticed immediately that the fries looked old but I June wanted to get home at that point. Once home ( I live less than a minute away) I bit into my burger and it was like a charcoal briquette. I still had hope another bite and the same. Both burgers we got were like that (ordered med). So I received excellent service but the food was only meh. i am going to try again some time because I do usually love the burgers plus I know I will get great service.
Good burgers for a fair price. They have an $8 menu and bottomless fries. The server was very friendly and informative. Lots of options on the menu and a good family type environment. You can't really go wrong with a burger.
Nice 50's style diner vibe, hampered only by a tear in the seat of my booth. Service was ok, but there was some confusion over a coupon my friend brought (not a big deal, though). Burger was very decent and not overly greasy, and the fries were well done, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. Good meal for the price. A nice alternative to White spot or McDonald's.
September 22 around 1pm Walked into Red Robin at Robson & Thurlow and looked forward to a burger. Didn't get to eat anything & walked out angry. I was one person and was sat at a table near the window. One of the staff told me that she needed to clean the table first. No problem I got up and waited by the side. Later the hostess came and said I should wait for the table to be cleaned first before sitting down. I told her that she should have told me so before letting me sit. Instead of getting the server to take my order, she kept on harping on the fact that I had sat before the table was cleaned. She won't stop and kept on saying next time..... I got up and complained to the assistant manager and I left. Poor Service
This was the worst experience I've had at Red Robin. My friend and I ordered our fries (I ordered yam fries) to come early because we were starving, and the server seemed to entirely forget. When our meal came, I was given approximately 9 fries on my plate, and they were cold and limp, and definitely not sweet potato fries (pictured below). The burger was only just warm. The server brought back the correct fries, and these ones, like the burger, were just warm. Definitely did not taste fresh. Also, our meal seemed to take longer than normal to make, approximately twenty minutes or more. I've been to Red Robin quite a bit, typically in Langley, but this was pretty disappointing. I probably won't recommend it to my colleagues in Vancouver.
