  • This hostel is incredible! I was traveling solo around Canada for 3 months and returned here on multiple occasions. The staff are beyond cool and there are daily activities too. The beaver bar was such a chill place and really knew how to get a vibe going. Can’t wait to come back here! There are so many chill spots if you don’t want to stay in your room at night and everything is so clean. The rooms are a tad small but that’s like any hostel. Prices are amazing and you meet so many people. Words really can’t describe how amazing this hostel made my holiday.

  • Great folks. Great bar. Outside of the HI in Reykjavik, this is one of the nicest, most well-thought out hostels I've been too. The building has energy and the rooms are maintained. I was excited to see that my bed had a curtain, a fan, and even exhaust vent. Awesome. The only thing I'd encourage is putting soap and shampoo in the showers. I understand it's for cost-savings, but it would be convenient and is a practice at other hostels. Still - 10/10 stars. Thank you.

  • Great location. Bunk beds are comfortable and clean. Rooms are small, but manageable unless you’re carrying a large suitcase. The lockers will hold a backpack or two. Definitely not a rucksack. Breakfast is pretty basic; fruit juice, toast bagels, yogurt, coffee etc. Go early or you’ll be fighting for a coffee mug and place to sit especially if you’re in a group. Personally I didn’t think the breakfast was worth fighting the crowd. Get a real breakfast at A&W next door. The free tours are also great if you’re new to Vancouver!

  • Feels like you transplanted a Berlin youth hostel to Canada. It's got that party vibe but you can still get sleep if you want and need. Everyone is relaxed and there's plenty of to do options available. The breakfast could be a little more robust.

  • This hostel is great! Probably the most comfortable beds I've ever experienced in a hostel. Employees are nice and the facilities are clean enough. My one downside is that people here don't seem to be as friendly as they have been at other hostels I've been to. Still a great place and a good place to stay for travelers.
