About Spanish Banks, Vancouver
The Spanish Banks is a lovely Beach Area in Vancouver. It is something like a group of several beaches coupled together. Although they are in one long straight line they are divided into three or four parts and each part as a unique perspective to provide.
Although you can just laze around and soak in the beach atmosphere here, it makes a lot of sense to also try out a few water-sports at the Spanish Bank Beach park. Kite-surfing, wake boarding and surfing are just some of the many unique ones on offer.
Another interesting thing about the Spanish Banks is the spectacular view of the North Shore Mountains that it provides. It is a great place to picnic or play beach sports and a lovely place for families and people who just want to hang out.

Spanish Banks, Vancouver Reviews
Spanish banks beach is huge. It is world class. If you arrive and the tide is out, just be wary of where you lay your blanket. The beach is massive at low tide but when it comes in that tide comes in fast. Make sure you're ready to grab and go. Not a lot in the way of concession stands, so bring your own food and beverage. Please leave the glass containers at home and take your garbage out with you. There are some half decent portable toilets out house wash rooms. Plenty of parking just steps from the sand. There's also a very large grassy area, picnic tables and places to have barbecues and opened fire. If you go all the way down to the very far end of the beach , that would be South South West End, you will even find an off-leash Beach for your dog . Have a great time at the beach.
Long Sandy Beach with shallow water so you can walk far out into the ocean. Beautiful view of the North Shore.
Bring a sweet chick here at sunset, she'll love you for it!
Great place to take your dog
Great dog beach at the far end
