False Creek doesn’t look better than from the Sunset beach- a low profile attraction in the city with a shore that cuts into the water in innumerable curves. The place is perfect if you don’t like touristy places and want the beach experience with a little less crowd around.
Unpack a picnic basket here and you are guaranteed a fabulous time with a stunning view and peaceful ambience. A dip in the creek water completes the visit.

Sunset Beach, Vancouver Reviews - Write a Review
A pretty beach for a picnic as there is a large grassy area. The sand isn't very nice, it's fairly rocky so it's not really the best beach for swimming, but rather a great place to spend a sunny afternoon. There are public washrooms, an outdoor shower, and a food stand that offers basic beach eats.
Nice place to sit and have a beer and just relax and enjoy your day! No one will bother you, and I didn't see any officers from the parks or City. Probably to do with being so erly in the morning! I would recommend that spot to chill too all that are interested in a perfectly good place to enjoy the day!😎🤔 But if you are drinking! Cut a pop can so you can sleeve over your beer can to make it look like your drinking pop!😁
Nice beach to watch the boats go by. Not overly busy here, sand is pretty pebbly
Quiet cozy beach frequented by the locals. Sand is not as manicured as English Bay, but def less of a "scene". Not a destination beach but a step into quiet n peaceful environment steps from downtown.
need i say anything? this is a great spot to end your day watching the sunset. much less crowded than english bay (cactus club cafe) if you prefer peace and quiet
