Favourite cocktail bar in the city. Used to like their food menu more, but the new menu is still good and drinks are the real stars here anyway. Great casual atmosphere and it oozes heritage charm. Window seats overlooking Gassy Jack and his bustling intersection provide entertaining distractions. Great spot for a first date.
Best place I’ve gone for cocktails and atmosphere in the city. Long and interesting cocktail menu - if you get the old fashioned, it comes with a starter drink while you wait! Tasty small bites and always plays the best music. Plus they’re open late unlike many smaller cocktail bars around.
It’s a really nice spot that’s dimly lit with soft lighting, the place has exposed brick walls and a rustic feeling. The atmosphere is honestly what’s draws me here, the cocktails menu is a hard second. When I was single it was one of my favourite first date locations. They also serve sushi here, I’m not sure why, it doesn’t go with the atmosphere and vibe of the place. However the sushi is good. I’m only giving this place 4 stars because this place always packed and impossible to gets table. If you do get a table while it’s packed it’s very loud and hard to hear your company speak.
Went on a busy Friday afternoon. No seating left but they let us and a couple others use reserved tables until they came. Bartender made drinks for us using our own recipe. He was cool. Had a good time.
Lovely cocktails, lots of selection. A good place to try something new. Low lighting makes it seem cozy, but it's really loud, so it's hard to have a quiet conversation. Good music though.
