The Old Spaghetti Factory is a fantastic place to go dining with your family and friends. You will be mighty impressed with their hospitality and customer service. This place is very conveniently priced and also serves huge portions of food. Obviously, going by the name, you get awesome spaghetti here with other tasty dishes as well. They do not keep you waiting for your food and with the quality food in the stomach; you will realize the fresh ingredients that they use in their preparations.

  • The customer service is very good and they were careful about my food allergies. I really appreciated that. The only issue is that the food is just... bland. Don't get me wrong though! It's exactly what you ordered... but despite being apparently made from scratch, it's pretty much on the same level as microwave food. That "you get what you paid for" feeling. That's why I gave it 3 stars. I otherwise have absolutely no complaints about this place. It simply didn't reach 4 stars in my books, especially since this is a restaurant and the food is what should shine. Nice friendly atmosphere though and the historic train in the middle is cute.

  • The only problem I would say is the parking. Hard to find and expensive. This place is good for family with kids. They begin by serving a warm bread ( with two kinds butter). The meal included salad, entree, and ice cream. I ordered seafood Mariana and it was so yummy and fresh. Big portion too. The interior is fun to watch, they have a train “seat” available.

  • The environment is warm and welcoming, decorated in an old-fashioned style. I ordered the 1-pound baby back ribs with spaghetti marinara, for 20.75$. The food is tasty. Every dish comes with bread and butter, minestrone or green salad, and ice cream at no extra cost. Service is quick and friendly. The price is really cheap for the quality and quantity of the food, especially considering the downtown location (Gastown) and the nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

  • The old spaghetti factory is the Air Bud of restaurants. It’s kid friendly, has a fun and frivolous atmosphere, and at the end you are somewhat satisfied. But repeat experiences lead to disappointment. Overall the best part was the service, prompt, accurate, polite and friendly. The food was on time but given the size of the place you know it’s here for quantity of people per hour. So it’s really not something to write home about. But you can get your picture taken in an old street car. So that’s nice. The food itself has great value and is quite palatable.

  • A wonderful menu selection and decent quality food, certainly for the great price. Service here was spectacular with very attentive but not over the top servers. The all included option was a nice touch giving you a choice of soup or salad, ice cream and tea or coffee when you order the qualifying main course. The decor appeared to be train and train station themed adding a quirky but not over the top edge to the evening. All said, a nice place to eat if you find yourself in Gastown.
