Tulip Town Reviews & Ratings
Great spring activity! Make sure you dress for the weather - if it’s rainy or has rained recently, wear rain boots or waterproof shoes! Beautiful tulips and a great date or family activity!
We went to tulip town this April when tulip blossoming. It's the heaven in the Earth. Luckily there was no rain on the day when we visited. But be ready to be soaked. Rain is very normal during bloom.
If you haven't experienced this for yourself, you need to once (or twice). It's absolutely breathtaking and pictures don't do it justice. It is unbelievably colorful all of April. There's a fair amt of parking. You can buy bulbs on site, as well as some souvenirs and snacks.
If you are going to the tulip festival definitely stop here. It is $10 a person to get in and the parking is free. They have arranged tulips inside that show all of the varieties for sale. Admission and food is cash only, everything else accepts credit cards. The fields were outstanding and I look forward to ordering some bulbs and picking them up in September/October. Even though the freeway was packed with cars heading north Tulip Town handles the crowds wonderfully.
There were a lot of tulips!! However, I really have to recommend Roosengarten over this one. It was just done better with a larger variety of tulips among other things.
