This is a village that is located 3 miles from Auray. It is famous for its sanctuary and its pilgrimages in the honour of St.Anne. It is said that she appeared to a simple and pious villager in the region and asked him to build a chapel. After a lot of discussion of proofs, where the whole village testified to the frequent appearances of St.Anne, the building of the chapel was given a green signal. The original statue was destroyed in the French Revolution but was later restored. Highlights include:
