Papanasam Beach - Review
Another popular beach in Varkala, the Papanasam beach is also a famous beach in which Hindu death rituals are performed. This one’s beauty enhances when the sun sets and there is cool breeze. You can also spot many food stalls selling different delicacies. Overall, a perfect place to enjoy some quality time with your family and friends. Cool breeze during sunset and the roaring sound of the sea are major reasons, why Papanasam Beach is on the top of the list of everyone who visits Varkala.

Papanasam Beach, Varkala Reviews
A beach is a landform alongside a body of water which consists of loose particles. The particles composing a beach are typically made from rock, such as sand, gravel, shingle, pebbles, or cobblestones. The particles can also be biological in origin, such as mollusc shells or coralline algae. Some beaches have man-made infrastructure, such as lifeguard posts, changing rooms, and showers. They may also have hospitality venues (such as resorts, camps, hotels, and restaurants) nearby. Wild beaches, also known as undeveloped or undiscovered beaches, are not developed in this manner. Wild beaches can be valued for their untouched beauty and preserved nature.
One of the best beach in India. The cost is full of black sand, which is good for your body. Facilities for performing Bali (Hindu Ritual offering flowers and grains to the deceased) are available there.
Clean beach, with scenic views all around. The cliff on the back of beach makes it so special. Attracts large crowd and one can stay there till 11pm. Easy to park, no fee and is crowded during peak hours. Best place to hang out with both friends and family. A long walk on the beach will make it a memorable one.
The wonderful place to chill out with loved once and spend a pleasant time with self. I can say it’s a Mini Goa in Kerala. In love with this place.
A Good beach with a nice stretch of sand. Ideal for religious rituals but could be better if some more seats arranged. Ideal place for family to spend an evening at helipad area. Have a good parking space at helipad but getting to the beach will take a breath.
