  • Beautiful beach. It is believed that if you take a dip in these waters your sins will be washed away. There is a temple here, built in quite an unusual style. People pay respects to there ancestors here. It’s not all religion though. All this is just in a short stretch. Most of it is empty. Surf, play in the water... fish. Lots of birds too, all busy swooping down to catching fish. Can watch them for hours.

  • Good place for relaxing at evening. Not polluted. Amazing view of Sunset. Papanasam is a Holy place of Hindus. At morning very much crowded with peoples and priests performing rituals. Adequate parking lot is also there.

  • Very small land area. Reasonable crowd. You can spend an hour. Papanasam beach and Varkala beach are just nearby. You an walk in the bank side. The issue is people are giving rituals of ancestors here which makes the area not for tourist. You have to go 300 meters to have real beach effect.

  • Good palace for thidhi. And a cliff there will be awesome which attracts more foreigners... It's just one Street which will look like mini Goa.

  • This each is very popular among all sorts of travellers. You can find some of the priests seating besides for performing rituals and all. There is also a basketball net where group can play. I personally liked the coffee they served at Papanasam beach. It was ultimate!
