Vaucluse House Tearooms, Vaucluse Reviews
We had our wedding here on 28 April 2018. The food and wine was absolutely wonderful, the service both on the night and beforehand was immaculate and Heidi, Grace and Joe, (the coordinators) held us with such a lovely and relaxed structure that we could just let go and enjoy the wedding. The atmosphere in the tearooms was magical. We were in really good hands, professional, relaxed and friendly. I found it a little difficult to adhere to their strict rules, like finishing at 11pm on the dot, etc but still absolutely worth it. Highly recommended.
Good service. Relaxed atmosphere. Personally, I would recommend the that if you’re a couple, one might get the Devonshire Tea $18pp (Scones and Coffee/Tea) and another, a different meal so you’ll have variety. Good place to have a date. Then, explore Vaucluse House (separate $12pp).
Organised a small group when they had a high tea special on -we'll definitely be back! Beautiful little venue; you forget that you're in Sydney. Staff are super friendly and attentive, they cleaned the table and refreshed our drinks before we'd even realised it needed to be done! Even had a bit of a chat and a laugh with us. Great little spot.
Had a lovely High tea here for a hens party in March 2018, couldn’t fault it! The bride to be and hens were all delighted. Beautiful outdoor setting, delicious food and great service!
We had a family function at this venue on the weekend , and all i can say is the food was tragic! The entree i had of pasta (beetroot ravioli ) was the worst i have had anywhere in the world! It was almost inedible the other entree tomato and Gorg Cheese was bland and tasteless.Bread on side plate was stale as well, couldn't do the simple things right at all. I had a beef pie which the meat was chewy , and my wife had the Salmon which she said was average at best. The staff were pleasant so not their fault . All up a very disappointing performance ,shall never be going back.ZERO stars if possible>
