Situated to the north of Montagne Sainte-Victoire, the Chateau of Vauvenargues is located in the South of France. A private property now, this castle is famous for the burials of Picasso and Cooper. During the middle ages, it was the seat of the Counts of Provence. You will also find the relics of St Severin here. In the year 1947, this castle also served as a wellness spot for a marine institute. Today, it is tucked in the large stretches of greens and is extremely beautiful.
