The Golden Temple at Sripuram is a spiritual park which was inaugurated in 2007. Spread across 100 acres of land, the temple is patronized by throngs of devotees from the neighbouring cities and towns on a daily basis.
The structure and design of the temple truly stands out. The forehead of the temple is protected with a layer of gold and comprises of intricate designs and art forms (around 1500 kg of gold was used to make the forehead). LED lights placed strategically around the forehead of the temple lights up in the evenings, offering a truly spectacular sight. Therefore, the sheer architectural brilliance of the temple makes it must-visit place. It is important to note that the star-shaped path referred to as Sri Chakra has vedic significance.

Sripuram Golden Temple, Vellore Reviews - Write a Review
Just wow.... the way which goes towards temple is constructed in a star shape, need to walk atleast 15 minutes to reach the main temple the surrounding of the way is very green & peaceful .THE GOLDEN TEMPLE OF SOUTH INDIA. Constructed and plated with gold, the temple glitters during the night due to the light focus and by the reflection of it in the water. A well maintained temple. 😊
The place is just visited because it is made of Gold. The temple authorities does not do anything to enhance you spiritually. They are there to just mint money. To get quick darshan one needs to pay 100 Rs. Even if one's health is not good you end up waiting for 3 hrs or pay 100Rs to move quickly. I recommend go there, pray and return. Don't try to do lot of donations there. You cannot carry your phone or camera. Children above 8 years need to wear pants and not shorts.
Beautiful, golden temple with peaceful surroundings. A nice walk. It seems like there are a lot of devout people coming here to pray. Likely worth it if you are already in Vellore, but I'm not sure if I would necessarily trek from afar. Cons: commercialized (pics of the guy everywhere sold on various items), you can't take pictures (which is probably good so you can enjoy the moment more). Advice: You have to leave shoes, phones, and camera outside. There is a check-in service outside (minimal cost), and you can buy plastic bags. I was somewhat worried. It seems decently secure enough, but I would leave those items at home just in case. I paid 100Rs for a quick access ticket to bypass the long entrance line (but there weren't too many people when I went anyway). Around the actual temple itself, we were sandwiched in-between crowds, and didn't want to have to wait (crowd was waiting for their turn to pray by the temple). The guard didn't understand us and didn't let us go backwards so we snuck out to the corridor to the left (outermost corridor) and followed it to the exit and 'escaped' that way.
Holy temple of Hindu god and goddess. Must visit once. The exterior and interior is excellent. Last reporting time is 8:00PM.
This temple is very famous for its golden temple surrounded by water. The gold temple is a spectacular one to see. Its located in mid of a big green park. The location is really silent without cameras and mobile phones. Be ready to walk around the temple as you need to a lot. Free entrance will take at least 2hrs waiting time and vip ticket costs 250 Indian Rupees with a fast tour of 1 hr
