  • For the price, this hotel is very great. The view from our room was good. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, they held our luggage for us even after we checked out. Location was also good.

  • We were in Italy for about 2 weeks and lived in more than 7 hotels and this was the worst hotel of all. 1. Dirty shower stalls - The shower stall was not only cracked but had dirty black mold on its tile. The very badly designed glass wall was fixed so inconveniently that it made it difficult to enter the shower stall - almost slipped and fell. The faucet was broken. The water became too cold and too hot all of a sudden. 2. Bedsheets with multiple blood stains!!! - To top this the bed sheets had blood stains on it all over - YIKES! I neither slept well nor had a good bath. The single star is for a relatively clean commode and wash basin. Overall a terrible experience for a $150 + tax per night rate which is quite exorbitant for this hotel. I would never recommend staying in this hotel. I was glad to check out and run away from it.

  • The rooms were clean. Nice and quiet during the day. There is a reception open 24 hours a day where you leave your key while you're gone. Breakfast is included. (Bread rolls, toast, eggs, cereal, meats and cheese, jam etc.) The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's a maid service that will give fresh towels and lean your room daily. (if you want.) There's airconditioning in the rooms that they can turn off or on for you with a short call to reception. We had two small issues. One was the water pressure. The cold water would always run out fast, leaving us with a little hot stream of water. The other was electricity. Some outlets in the room didn't work. The clerks did speak English and could help us with finding certain places in the city. However, know that Google maps and GPS in this town is lacking, so finding this hotel may be a bit tricky. (as with most locations in Venice.) it is not reachable by car. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and you're right in the center of Venice. I'd love to stay here again.
