Great clasic hotel, a little bit oldie. Look for special price offers with great value for money
The location is fantastic. Short walk from train station and close to the centre. So far every member of hotel staff have been very welcoming. Hotel itself is beautiful and the breakfast is a great start to the day. I would definitely stay again.
The location of this hotel is good. Close walk to the main square (approx 7min walk casual speed) To and from the station it will cost you approx €12 (euros) or a 12-15 min walk. If you have small carry on / hand luggage / trolly cases it is possible to walk it from station to hotel. However if you have checked in luggage / big suitcase then take a taxi. In Verona you don't need a car. Best way round is by foot or cycle. Hotel offers complimentary cycles. Back to the review of this hotel... Rooms are small and so are the bathrooms. Generally kept clean. Be prepared to hear your room neighbours...walls are very thin!!!...you can hear them shower, engage in conversations, etc... TV channels are plenty but very poor for English. There is so much news you can watch in English before you get bored. There is no concierge service as such and reliant on the front desk to provide advice. We didnt find these guys to helpful. Instead we used google maps and Wikipedia. Breakfast is provided between 0700 - 1030 and located in the basement with a good selection of hot and cold foods. There are plenty of restaurants and shops close by to the hotel. Cleanliness 4/5 Service 3/5 Quality 3/5 Price 4/5
Fabulous hotel with really lovely friendly staff. Rooms were immaculate and the hotel itself is in a great location to walk in to the centre of Verona to see the arena.
Good sized rooms. Great breakfast
