One of the most astounding Veronese architectures, the Castlevecchoi Bridge is a120 metres long and was built over a span of 3 years by Cargrande II Della Scala for a safe escape from the castle.

In 1945 the bridge was destroyed and later on restored using most of its own material in the year 1951. The stunning structure basks the use of red brick and white marble as most of other Veronese monuments.

Ponte Scaligero connects the casstlevecchoi and Adige River is one of the most romantic sights in Verona. It is open all day and has no charge to visit, one can go for a stroll on the bridge else relax on one of the benches bordering the shore.
