This is a green park located in the heart of the city and thus often referred to as the “green lungs of the city”. It is surrounded by a large grove of plants. The garden gets its named from the Palace Capra Querini of which this was the garden. This was opened publicly in 2010 and is an example of the flood damage in Vicenza.

The park is also known as a Science Park given the number of rare and exotic plant and herb species conserved here. Also attractive is the lake full of colorful fishes. It is a perfect afternoon destination with its soft grass and shady trees.

  • Wonderful park, lots of space for picnic and relaxing, shady benches and wide lawns. Beautiful canals cross the park with different animals living and moving nearby (tortoises, swans, ducks, herons). A pathway tree-lined with statues starts from the park center, where the water form a small artificial lake and a greek style temple stand out against the buses on an artificial island.

  • A place for calming mind, emotions, relax and start over again

  • Awesome park for family visit. A lot of animals make me and my family happy. Calm and quet place, I can recomend.

  • A lovely and a nice place for someone to relax

  • Excelent place to do exercises (jogging, walking, playing) or just to stop for a moment and read a book or to take some fresh air.
