Villa Valmarana Ai Nani - Review
This is a Venetian villa located near Vicenza on Mt. Berico. It is renowned for the beautiful frescoes inside. These were creations of Giambattista Tiepelo and his son Giandominico. The name is due to the statues of dwarfs that were scattered all around the garden and at present stuck to the walls.
The interiors are extremely beautiful and well maintained. It has been an inspiration for many an Italian home and other monuments. Such works of art can leave anyone in awe and such magical charm is mesmerizing. Each and every inch of the house, the columns, the pillars, the furniture, windows and all else will leave you thoughtful about the people who resided here. Beautiful setting. Nice patio and indoor cafe, scenic peaceful view.
Absolutely stunning. Beautiful place to visit, an even better venue for a wedding celebration
A really wonderful Baroque villa complex. Interesting and understated landscaping but it's the wonderful 18th century frescoes by the great Venetian painter Giambattista Tiepolo and his son Giandomenico that are tbe chief attractions.
Lovely as it would be your home if you would have chosen Gianbattista Tiepolo as a decorator! Nice little room (full with frescos) in the coffee shop worth a pit stop
Villa Valmarana ai Nani at Vicenza...architectural masterpiece by the great architect Padillo, there is a nice discount for the students and professors, they pay only five euro for the ticket. taking pictures is allowed. You can take a coffee also inside or outside the villa, I really recommend you to visit this place.
