East Harbor State Park Reviews & Ratings

  • Great staff, everyone is very nice and treats you respectfully. The other campers are nice, campgrounds kept nice, grass is kept cut and trash picked up. Has two shower houses and never a problem getting in to take a shower. Always my # 1 spot to camp out when I come to lake Erie!

  • Sites are always clean an plenty of room. Restrooms an showers are also clean and we'll kept.. It's a yearly visit the men of the family make there to go fishing... Plenty of parking at the boat launch an the fish house is great to have there so we don't have to clean the fish back at camp... Highly Recommend...

  • A very clean and well maintained State park. The campground have clean restrooms and shower houses. The staff always treats you like you are special. The beach is great and there are plenty of places to fish if that is what you want. Lots of trails and activities too

  • Great state park! The shower houses are very nice. Plenty of electric only spots to choose from. The full hook up spots are rather limited, and we were fortunate to get a spot in the middle of the week. We decided to extend our stay one more night after settling in for a few hours, and were fortunate that our spot was available. Word of warning: BEWARE OF SKUNKS!!! We talked to quite a few other campers who come on a regular basis, and they said that skunks are abundant, and have no fear. We made the mistake of letting our dog out on the leash in the dark, and a skunk walked right up to our dog. Before I even had a chance to react, she got sprayed right in the face. Unfortunately, we have been fighting the smell all day. Despite the upset, we have enjoyed our camping experience.

  • Such a nice, clean place to go to relax/enjoy yourself alone or with the family. I've been here a few times now and it never disappoints me.. A great place to take nature photos too!! I am just always enjoying myself so much I forget to take pictures lol. I definitely recommend going here and giving your soul some peace and tranquility!!
