Petite Anse Beach, Victoria Reviews
My favourite in La Digue! Flat white beach. Crystal clear water and big waves for playing. Really liked the beach houses and the little takamaka rum bar. Private and human untouched. Short walking trough the jungle. I can visit again and again.
Beautiful and quiet beach. A short walk through the jungle/mountain from the main beach, totally worth it... There is no shade to take cover from the strong sun, so make sure you go with a tent or an umbrella...
Excellent beach at la digue with a great scenic view. Approaching it is a bit difficult. One can not take any vehicle even bicycle there. One had to keep bicycles at grand anse beach, walk to the left and almost the end, take a left turn and then immediate right. One will get a small road. Then a mountain to be climbed to reach petite anse. This small trek is a wonderful experience and not very hard. After 15 minutes walk and trek in total, one approaches the beautiful petite anse beach. Difficult to swim since currents are high. One can just experience being in the waters, click photos and experience the nice ambience. One gets coconut water and lime juice there, which is prohibitively expensive! A nice isolated beach
Great beach with amazing views! About 10-15 minutes walk from Grade Anse. Good place for cooling off in the water, but to dangerous for swimming. Don't bother to take your snorkeling gear! Bring some food and water as you can only buy juices there!
Pretty nice rock “climbing” from Grand Anse to reach the Petit Anse. The short hike there is worth it. Feels like a little bit into the jungle ;-). And you can refreshments on Petit Anse but of course more pricey than in less remote places. The beach itself is quite similar to Grand Anse and not as beautiful in my opinion.
