Cafe Ministerium, Vienna Reviews - Write a Review
Old World decor wonderful selection of tasty home cooked Style chicken with salad and delightful aromatic coffee and delicious mineral water
Quiet Café with bright outdoor seating. I came here for the breakfast of soft boiled eggs and bread which was reasonably priced.
The interior is worthwhile a visit if you happen to be around for Otto Wagner's Postsparkasse building next door. Even though the café is situated next to the Ringstrasse, it is not a typical Ringstrassencafé, but rather sports the atmosphere of a suburban Viennese coffeehouse. This should probably be attributed to the fact that patrons and regulars mostly work at the government offices just around the corner. Thus also the cafés name "Ministerium".
Excellent location for weekday lunch. Great selection of popular, traditional Austrian cuisine.
Good food, reasonably priced, nice service with a good setting/location.
