What you will see as Danaupark today was actually created as a result of the auspices of the 1964 Vienna International Garden Festival. Created between 1963 and 1964, this park stretches the area between the Danube and the Old Danube i.e between the centre of Vienna and the districts of Floridsdorf and Donaustadt. Designed by Alfred Auer, this park is multiple sided and hosts a number of exhibitions and theme gardens.
