Hofburg Palace, Vienna Reviews
It was awesome. I'm sure there is more to what we saw but seeing all the place settings and silverware was awesome. I love the details of history as well as the broad brush strokes. If you only want a survey, this might not be the place for you, unless you want to spend an hour just looking at pretty things. If however you love the details, you'll love this museum.
A must if you travel to Vienna. Can be very crowded if you go during the normal tourist hours. Plan to go really late in the day or early to take good pictures. There were some parking space in the front of the building but not sure if these were reserved for public. Lots of tourists around. Not much guidance around about entry into the facility so check the website.
It is an awesome museum. Lots of wonderful stuff to see. It is a must go place. However it is very very very hot inside during August. You’d better drink enough water in case that you may get dehydrated. It is not fair for tourists. It is urgent to put AC inside.
Beautifully preserved and presented palace. Takes around 1.5 hours to get around, lots of history, not to be missed. Takes in apartments, from dining to sleeping etc includes royal crockery and cutlery etc. Audio given at entrance which is excellent and comprehensive. An enjoyable visit
A very interesting palace complex. Each building and square has it's own history. There are many museums on-site. Takes a full day to see all.
