About Raimund Theater, Vienna

Named after the Austrian dramatist Ferdinand Raimund, this is one of the most visited theatres in Vienna. Built in 1893, this theatre instantly became popular with the theatre lovers of the city and around. Today, it is used to stage major musical productions and can seat around 1,000 persons.For people who wish to see and understand German folk dramas and plays, this is the most relevant place.   • Nice shows and very friendly staff. I have seen almost all of their productions over the last 10 years.

  • Performance I'm from Austria was very profesional

  • Had watched Mamma mia here in 2015. It was amazing experience. There was english subtitles as well.

  • Musical Mozart! was great, they use a lot modern technique instead of a real scenery, but it makes the plays more up to date.
