  • This service is a complete joke - the employees freely admit that they can’t keep to the posted schedule, and refuse to offer any other useful information. Unless you can afford to fly you won’t have any other options, and it seems that this monopoly has made the company operating the ferry complacent. Really can’t express how frustrating the experience is - truly awful. UPDATE: Changed from 1 to 3 stars. Even though the employees we initially spoke with were not very helpful, and the scheduled times don’t correspond at all with the posted times, the experience returning from Vieques is much smoother than coming (at least on this particular Saturday morning). You can only purchase tickets an hour in advance, but there’s no official source of departure times unless you go to the window and ask someone. Don’t rely on the posted schedule!

  • The ferry was comfortable, we got there at 8am ferry left until 11. The tickets sale starts until 10 am seniors first. If you are a tourist they send you to a separate section ( which it made me feel segregated) because they let PR residents go in first then tourists second. Eventhough I was the first one to arrive and purchase a ticket.

  • Our 1pm passenger ferry didn't arrive because of coast guard inspection. So we had to wait until 3pm for the cargo ferry.

  • Is a great but need a little bit more staff and organization

  • Ferry ride was ok but like most times, you run into people who just don't know how to act like adults. Even when crew members tried to get them to stop, they refused to listen. Needs a better security system. It's also very disorganized because there are different lines for different ferry on the main Island side. Once you know where you need to be, then get ready for wait time on both sides of the ferry terminal. The price is very cheap in cost. $4 both ways total for adults.
