The Rajiv Gandhi Park in Vijayawada is a well maintained park set up by the Andhra Government. It is nice place to spend an evening with your family and loved ones. The park is special because it is very popular especially among children. It has a small zoo with quite a few cute animals. It also has a park with replicas of ancient animals and especially dinosaurs. There is a beautiful fountain inside and musical fountain shows are also organized in the evenings. Another attraction that makes the park popular is the horticulture collection. The diverse range of fauna here looks just amazing. The secret behind the good growth of plants is the fertile soil of the Krishna River banks. The park is named after our first Prime Minister Sri Jawaharlal Nehru to honour his role and contribution in the development of our country and for the welfare of its people.

  • I really felt very uncomfortable during my visit to this park. It's all crowded with lovers found misbehaving in the premises. I found very uncomfortable to visit along my children. However on the other side there are good number of sports for children. Had a good time with my children.

  • it was good park but now its in very bad condition. nothing is well maintained. all types of rides and toy train everything non working. and very bad condition. tough ticket is only 10 rs. But sadly its not suitable for family very good for couples.

  • Good designed park but not well maintained. Toy train track is there but train is not running. You can see flowers and butterflies here. Big size frog, tortoise, engine and other structures are the key attractions here. Entry ticket is ₹10.

  • Nice park very personalised place to lovers there is lot of privacy. One of the best place for spending time with your family

  • Good place for relaxation Very Cool place at morning time. So many people use to jog and walking in the morning. Lonely place use to relax our mind from tension. Full of trees use to keep cool and snow at winter season. Not only people birds like peacock, sparrow, parrot etc., are use to roam here and there by making plenty of sounds. The old trees bordering the fields acted like guards, muffling the sound of the busy city around them and creating a peaceful haven for the small creatures that lived inside. The only entrance was a narrow path that gradually widened as it ran through the fast · Living in the city is hard, even for those who were born in the industrialized environment of crowded streets, huge supermarkets, crammed subways, and polluting. One of my favorite things to do before starting my day is to take a jog in the local park. My mind will clear, and I will be able to face whatever may happen that day. On reaching the park, we bought tickets for everyone and entered the park. The only fitting description for it was “amazing”. I was really spellbound
