Televizijos Bokstas - Review
The 1071 feet tall Vilnius TV tower is probably the highest structure in the whole country, thus making it ideal to broadcast TV and radio shows. Though an entertainment hub, the tower has a dark blot in its history when a number of unarmed civilians were killed and injured while opposing the forcible seizure of the tower by the Soviet army. A small museum now stands inside the base of the tower to commemorate the memory of those who passed away on that dark day and to showcase the bravery shown by these Lithuanian citizens.

Televizijos Bokstas, Vilnius Reviews
One of the most popular tourist attractions in Vilnius. We came here because we got a gift certificate. It was fairly crowded with tourists. We had to register in advance, so seating wasn’t a problem. The interesting thing is that there are seats on the perimeter of the tower, and the seats slowly spins, I calculated that they make a full circle in about an hour. The view is very nice, we came in the evening, closer to the sun set. I was sad that it was the middle of the summer and we didn’t have the chance to see the night city from above, since they do not work that long, but it was still very interesting. The TV tower also works as a restaurant, the food is average and pricy, you definitely would not want to come here for the food, for the view? On a nice clear sunny day, I would definitely recommend.
The tower is pretty close to the city center and easy to get to by bus. You can take bus number 9 and it'll take you to a really close point, where you can walk to the tower. It is really high and can be seen from any spot while walking. The cost to enter is 12€ and for students it's half price, the tower has 19 floors and when you're at the top you'll sit and the interior of the tower will be spinning around itself to give you a 360° view for all Vilnius. There is also a restaurant with reasonable prices. If you go there don't miss the chance to see the whole city.
326,5 meters high TV tower, highest construction in Lithuania! Built in 1981 it looks quite tired at the moment, but the view from the restaurant is amazing- visit it in the evening to see city panorama in a daylight and nighttime- big city lights are really nice! The food in restaurant is tasty, but i found extra article on my bill that i haven’t ordered! (It was removed). Service is slow because of a lot of visitors. NB! Restaurant make 360 degrees turn in one hour so you can enjoy view during lunch/dinner!
A beautiful place with a beautiful view of the city. Definitely the landmark of that place. The only thing that I disliked is the prices which are like the difference between my and a normal human's misery. 4 stars 8/10.
Such a disappointment. The view was great (albeit not the best you can get in Vilnius), but the accompaniment of a restaurant does not carry the experience forward. Waiters take their time so don't expect to be served quickly (aside from collecting payment, perhaps) and kindly. The mediocre quality of food does not justify 40 min I spent waiting for a COLD SOUP. Not to mention the entrance price... The outside of that tower will do just fine. PS The waiter literally didn't give us change while I was writing the review. Really summarises the experience.
