The All Saints Church, built around 1620 – 1630, is a Baroque architecture church in Vilnius that was opened up to serve the Carmelites. Though the structure of the church looks plain enough, the bell tower is a huge and imposing structure adorned with beautiful decorations and showcasing some wonderful architectural styles. The Church helped a number of Jews, who were imprisoned in a ghetto at the end of the street, where the church was located. Using the underground sewers, food was taken inside the ghetto and also a few prisoners of the ghetto were helped in escaping the confinement. The church is surely worth a short visit during your trip to Vilnius.
