Wanted to see the area where my great uncle died in the First World War and his name recorded on the monument. Also visited various museums and monuments in the Somme. Interesting visit to the tank museum at Flesquieres, too. Memorable visits in this centenary year.
Went here to visit the memorial where my wife's great uncle is remembered. Beautiful, peaceful place.
