Vinadio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southwest of Turin and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Cuneo, on the border with France. It is located along the Stura di Demonte river. Together with Demonte and Pietraporzio, is one of three comuni of Italian Occitania.Vinadio borders the following municipalities: Aisone, Demonte, Isola (France), Pietraporzio, Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée (France), Sambuco, and Valdieri.
