Visegrad Castle Reviews & Ratings
Tickets are 1700 for adults and 850 for students - it is definitely worth it for the amazing view on the Danube and the surroundings as well as the exhibitions set up inside the castle. It is also a good idea to park more down and hike there (15min to an hour depending on the parking)!
Beautiful view over Danube. Really nice castle too. Loved the exhibition. You can pay by credit card there for the tickets, gift shops usually accept only cash, so have both. Also the parking slot is a bit small but we fitted in. The girl selling parking tickets did not speak English but we managed. She gives you the ticket and you pay by the hour when you leave.
Great castle and good history. Recommend the walk up, too many people in coaches and cars, park at the top. Good views over the Danube
The most beautiful view I have ever seen. Costs 1500 to get in. But worth it. Great view over Danube. We walked up a beautiful signed tracking path. Those in bad shape were challenged, but you should do the walk anyway :) Remember to put on mosquito spray first. We didn't - that was stupid.
The sights are the best. From the castle you can look a huge surroundings
