Sub-marine Museum Reviews & Ratings

  • A place that must be visited to feel the joy of quick, informative, and memorable experience. The submarine has been transformed into a museum, showing the complex construction details of its machinery, and the lifestyle of underwater soldiers. The compartments are all maintained comfortable enough to go through. The full details of the submarine can be found outside, yet for the sake of visitors' satisfaction, there are guides inside who explain to the visitors in different languages (Telugu, Hindi, and English). The tour will take just 15 minutes, however it is suggested to spend sufficient time to observe the details of the architecture within. The entry fee is reasonable. However, unfortunately, price has to be paid for clicking photos. The place is open for visitors both in the morning as well as in the evening, however morning session is more preferable, as we can see the natural outer beauty of the submarine in its real colour, while the evening time shows it decorated with artificial lighting. This place can mark itself as a fascinating entertainment for children, while it may bring out the patriotism from within the adults..

  • It’s a nice place if you wanna experience how the submarines were earlier They had small kitchens n small rooms. It’s so good to know in detail about the thinking n technology. The guides were very humble n explained the history behind it. Indian govt took a good decision to bring back this submarine and use it as a museum so that youth can see and understand history by their eyes

  • The place doesn't require much time. Half hour overall max time required. You can visit at any convenient time of your choice. Inside it shows how a submarine is like. Watch your head. I had hit my head on very solid iron made some object. I am 6 feet tall.

  • The gigantic submarine is just treat to the eyes. The detailed view from within gives you great insights if you are from a technical background. You need to take a ticket to visit the submarine. Also if you have to click photos then there is a separate ticket. Th RK Beach is just beside it. View from here is absolutely lovely.

  • This is a one time visit place. Any technical person is more likely to visit the submarine with a little anxious. Then one can enjoy. They just gives a little hints to the visitors. But if go inside then you find a different life under water. Only takes 10min to through the submarine from entrance to exit. Tickets costs 40/head.
