  • It gives a good glimpse of the life of naval personnel inside a submarine. Looking into the various controls will overwhelm you in you are passionate about it. The staff inside is courteous and offers information. Both still and video photography is allowed inside if you get appropriate tickets. Attaching a few shots of the submarine. For the staff on board explaining about the functions. I visited two months back with a friend & to be guided from the entrance and the museum till the exit. . An historic museum in India, Hats off to those brave mariners.

  • INS Kursura the submarine had a great role in guarding the Indian coastline. Now it's old and hence has been turned into a museum to make people aware of the underwater warfares and mechanism of a submarine. I gained a lot of knowledge about submarine after visiting it. I will recommend everyone who has a little bit of interest to go and visit the museum. It's unique we only hear about submarines but when you visit the museum it's quite informative and one may have the feeling of being a true submariner.

  • It is first submarine museum. It clearly gives the picture of how the navy people uses the submarine. The submarine is well preserved and it is rich history of Indian Navy. By seeing this one can easily understand the purpose of submarine and life of sailor in the middle of the sea. The officers who are guides for this museum are clearly explaining everything to civilians, the doubts are clarified. This museum aspires the kids to become the navy officer. This is great opportunity for all to gain knowledge about submarine. One should definitely visit this museum to know about the submarine and it’s association with Indian Navy.

  • This is One Of the Best Indian Best Submarine Of Our Glorious History. I had seen any submarine for first time. And it makes us feel pride and strength to see the Such a Huge Piece of Our safety and security. The Submarine is Placed just On the sea shore. Open to all. You can click photos as well. It need a little maintainence as well.😊

  • A good place to visit to know about submarine and history. Inside it is fully air conditioned with proper lighting. U have to go up and down at some point, Be Careful with Your head if you are tall it may hit something. The guides inside will give you details about almost every thing. BUT the guides are strict about your photography i.e. if you buy one ticket for mobile photography they will allow only one mobile to be used inside, if you take out another mobile to click a picture, ITS OVER they will shout at you and will make you delete the picture in that mobile. If you take a video for a photography ticket again you are finished. They should keep proper notice at the ticket counter, other wise how you are supposed to know about rule and regulations but instead they shout at you when they find something wrong. People working in it ,show some respect to tourists.
