Vlorë District (Albanian: Rrethi i Vlorës) was one of the thirty-six districts of Albania, and is today part of Vlorë County. Its population of 151,314 (2010 estimate). The district has a land area of 1,609 km². It is in the south-west of the country, and its capital was Vlorë. Its population includes a Greek minority. The district consisted of the following municipalities: * Armen * Brataj * Himarë * Vranisht * Kotë * Novoselë * Orikum * Qendër * Selenicë * Sevaster * Shushicë * Vllahinë * Vlorë Other places in this district included Dhërmi, Ujë i Ftohtë, Palasë, Nartë and Kocul.
