Stolphoevekerk - Review
Built in 1658, this is the oldest church in Volendam. The bell homestead (or farmhouse) style building is made entirely out of wood. Inside is an 18th century organ, with pipes from different periods from history. There is a bell tower on top. The Protestant church was made a national monument in 1976. It is still in active use, but is usually closed to tourists and visitors. Most just take a picture from outside and move on.
