Wadsworth Village Park

4.495 Votes

Situated close to the Wadsworth Prairie Nature Preserve, the community park is spread over a vast area and has distinct sections for children’s play zones. A playground with swings and activity areas ensures that the children will stay occupied. Meanwhile, the elders can relax on the side with pre-installed grills to have a barbeque and enjoy the lush green lawns lined by manicured trees. The park is available for private events like gatherings or sports practices against booking. The large shelter of the park can accommodate up to 100 people, while the East and West shelters can accommodate up to 25 people. The Campanella field can be reserved for sports practice for a fixed period of time.

  • Great park. Awesome equipment. Nice walking trail.

  • My 5 year old had a blast at this park

  • Nice park, clean restrooms

  • Nice park. Lots of ameties for kids young and old including baggos. Park connects to Waukegan Savanna trail.

  • This is one of the cleanest parks I've ever taken my kids to, hands down. The playground is sitting on to of an imitation grass as opposed to wood chips or chopped up tires like I've seen at other parks. Tennis courts, basketball courts, fields for soccer, a space to bbq and parking at opposite ends of the park. Theres also tails for walking/cycling so if you can't find something to do at this park it's because you tried not to.
