Kahanamoku Beach Reviews & Ratings

  • The lagoon here was perfect for my one year old who was terrified of the ocean waves. We rented a tent on site and had a great time. Parking is available past Hotel Modern.

  • Where we ended up perching it was really rocky.... we were near the lagoon. It was rather painful to get into the water. The view was great though. Walking around the beach was fun

  • Beautiful beach. Lots of places nearby to have a drink and a nice view. A little pricey around here, go checkout a local dive called Harbor Pub.

  • Widest stretch of beach in Waikiki. It’s stunning, but be prepared for large crowds. Bring your own food/drinks. It is ridiculously expensive to buy near the resorts. The waves are not bad, but be mindful with small children. I definitely recommend wearing water shoes! Lots of coral/shells on the bottom as you walk into the water.

  • Beautiful beach surrounding the lagoon in front of the Hilton Hawaiian Village. This spot give a great view across Waikiki Beach to Diamond Head. The grassed area along the car part side is very popular with the locals who have family gatherings there and also have great access to fishing from the marina.
