  • Had a great time learning about the history of the Parker Ranch. Incredible to learn about one of the oldest ranches in Hawaii. The home is grand and beautiful, many items intact from the early 1900s

  • Interesting historical place. The original ranch houses extending over some 150+ years was amazing. The oldest one was built entirely of koa wood. Very beautiful. Cowboys in Hawaii = Paniolos. Considering the Parker Ranch is the 5th largest operating cattle ranch in the US (more than 100,000 acres) it remains impressive.

  • I had heard of the Parker Ranch years ago but knew nothing of the story behind the ranch. If you are curious about the origins of cattle ranching in Hawaii, add this to your must visit places. You can walk through the final home of the family as well as the original house. In the original house you can learn about ranching by viewing a well done video on the history of cattle ranching and the Parker family in Hawaii.

  • This was a neat historical stop. The old house was impressive with all the koa wood and historical pictures and artifacts. I enjoy history and this appealed to me. The drive through the area is pleasant and is a good prelude to stopping at the Parker ranch mall with some good food and shopping options.

  • I Grew up on the Parker Ranch and it has changed over the decades the last time i saw it was 1978, this is just the most beautiful place. The Big Island The Better Kind You no can find!!! My Dad and Mom ran the restaurant in the 60s in fact i still have the table that all the cowboys "Paniola's" used to eat on. I will let them have it if they pay the shipping!! so far no response from the parker ranch. It has 7 chairs too!!! I forgot to mention that it would be coming from Central California
