Wallace Mining Museum Reviews & Ratings

  • Nice little museum. The exhibits showing the depth maps of the mines is great. Before or after visiting, I highly recommend the mine tour just one block over where you'll really learn about mining in the Silver Valley. A donation of $3/person or $7/family is requested.

  • Fun little museum with the most amazing 3D representations of local mines. They have an area where you explore exhibits done up like you are walking through a mine. The woman working the counter was friendly and very helpful.

  • Cool museum with very informative displays about the process of mining and all the old school things they did back in the day mining for minerals.

  • This was a fun museum! Small but there’s enough in there to keep you busy for a while.

  • Interesting and informative museum with many historical items and displays! Family-friendly fun!
