Bhadrakali Temple, Warangal Reviews
Very beautiful place. U feel blessed after worshipping the godess there. Very soft spoken and helpful temple staff. One should visit in evening also to njoy the pleasant atmosphere at that place.
The temple was closed when we reached. The floor was too hot to step on to due to sun light. The surrounding lake is beautiful.
Really amazing place to visit and for darshan of Maa Bhadrakali.Gives utmost relaxation ,free from all tensions once you have darshanam of Maa Bhadrakali.Very powerful and boon to Humankind.Bhadrakali lake is an additional attraction .very Lucky for Warangalites.
The more we visit our Heritage sites, the more heart wrenching Historical facts we encounter. The glory of Ancient India and it's wealth .. robbed, destroyed and burnt to ashes. This is a short history of an ancient temple called Sri Bhadhra Kali Temple, in Warangal . It's more than 1,000 years old (As we have evidences of stone tablets, where it got mentioned as 10 th Century CE earliest ) #Kohinur Diamond which was first plucked out from the main Deity's left Eye ( Installed by Kakatiya Kings) . Many ancient temples have diamonds embodied into the Deity's body. When Kakatiya rulers were on peak, this temple was having all its good time and once after the fall of the great Telugu Emperors, it was several times looted and destroyed by Muslim Invaders, Delhi Sultanates mainly Tuglak dynasty. (Muhammad Bin Tuglak) later been to dark ages and reinnovated after getting the independence in 1948 ( It was under Nizam's rule and didn't got independence till 1948) Attaching the complete history mentioned in the temple premises ( In Telugu) and some main Deity's photos collected from Facebook.
Excellent place located on the side of a water body. Very Serene and calm place. Visitors to Warangal/Hanmakonda/Kazipet should visit this Temple. The diety of maa bhadrakali is very beautiful and attractive.
