This walk is a good way to get to know Warsaw before you actually go and check anything out. A series of interconnected streets take you past some of the city’s most significant attractions, so you’ll know what to come back to later. That said, it also make for quite a romantic walk. It starts off from Plac Zamkowy at the castle and leads down the beautiful River Pistula.
The best thing about the walk is of course the architecture. The nobility of Poland build quite a few residences along this road, so it’s pretty grand. You’ll cross the St. Anne's Church, the Tyszkiewicz Palace, the Holy Cross Church, St. Alexander's Church, and move into Lazienki Park right up to Chopin’s monument. Try and walk the river at sunset. It’s enchanting.
Also, visit nearby attractions which are covered in Warsaw itinerary 3 days.
- Get some snacks or pastries to munch on from the many cafes on the way.
