Warsaw Zoo, Warsaw Reviews
Great zoo. Just a shame that it was being renovated during our visit. Enclosures where large and well maintained and the animals seemed well cared for. Facilities are good and it's not far from a team stop so access is good. Well worth a trip if you have kids as very kid friendly.
It seemed very quiet when we went in early September (though it was a Monday) The highlights were the cheetahs! They had a mother basking in the sun and 2 cubs playing. There were a few animals that we couldn't see, but we figured they were hiding from the hot day. I wouldn't spend the entire day there, but it makes for a nice half day visit if you want to just focus on the animals you're interested in
Nice large zoo with some drawbacks. No map guide available at ticketing. Some key animals like giraffe are back in house before closing. Plan at least 4-5 hours. Watch out for waffles sold on premises at main alley, chewy and tasteless, get local at front gate at main entrance instead, these are excellent. Enjoy!
It's a nice surprise. A very enjoyable zoo and there are some rare animals as well(I believe this was the first time when I saw a snow leopard). Also currently there is a rinocérosz family and many different interesting birds. One from the biggest ones are the condors... Expect to spend at least 3 hours in the zoo if you want to see everything. Price of the ticket is 30 zloty. The reduced is 20.
Big and well organised. I just think the map should be clearer. You often get lost looking for those sections you want to see. You eventually find them all but it takes longer than needed. Definitely worth a visit, specially if you have children
