  • This hotel is a great location and a very nice hotel. I had an issue, and was impressed that the front desk dealt with it appropriately. I would consider staying here again. I was sorry to hear they removed their Executive Lounge, as a diamond member that was a reason to stay here, that no longer exists.

  • Really, for room and location this should be four stars, the only problem with the room was no fridge. It is a quiet and relaxing hotel in a great location. But we had a random charge added to our room, and when we complained there was no apology, just a tedious explanation of their booking system failure. The guy at the desk was demeaning to my wife, and when I spoke to the manger I still didn't get a 'sorry'. It does seem to be the hardest word at this hotel. Check your bills, lots of other reviews mention unexplained additional costs.

  • Attended the Nonprofit CFO awards luncheon. Great event. The three CEO' s presenting the awards to their CFO' s gave excellent speeches. Warm, impassioned and funny.

  • Excellent service. Excellent location (walking distance to The White House and the National Mall). Hotel needs some updates though.

  • I stayed here during a convention. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment I walked through the door. The rooms were nice, with plenty of space. There are quite a few places to eat within walking distance, which is a huge plus. My only complaint is really the bathrooms. While they look modern and nice, mine was not well cleaned after the last resident, the shower head was covered in buildup, and the shower drain was clogged when I tried to shower the first night. Bathroom aside, everything else was nice, and I would definitely stay here again!
