George Mason Memorial Reviews & Ratings
The Memorial is a little known one, not crowded at all, about one of the founding fathers. Overshadowed by the Thomas Jefferson Memorial it is a nice spot to come, rest, and learn history. If you are going to walk about the Tidal Basin you may as well visit this memorial.
Off the beaten path and not hectic area. Relax and stroll the area. The Cuban Friendship Urn was by parking area.
Not crowded at all. A great place to relax for a little while and read up on one of our forgotten founding fathers. I would recommend stopping by if walking around the Tidal Basin.
I love this place. Specially in spring time, because of Cherry blossom festival lot of people come visit this area. It's always crowded during spring/summer. This place is really good for walking/strolling. You should come this area during Cherry blossom, you will surely love it. But getting here it's tough as there are so much traffic around this area.
People really need to read up on this man and get an understanding for what he and his work means to this Country. I'm so glad we stopped here and read the words that he'd written. He had very influential ideals that shaped our Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights.
